Nominations call for upcoming Awards for Autism

SURREY - Pacific ABA Academy is hosting the second annual Awards for Autism and is looking for nominations.

If you know a child between the ages of two and 18 who has a diagnosis of autism and has exceptional talent who deserves recognition, organizers encourage you to fill out a nomination.The categories are: sports, academics (elementary and high school), music, dance, community service/social responsibility, and an open category. The open category is for special talent that does not fit in the other categories but deserves recognition.The awards will be presented at a fundraising dinner on April 25 at the Crown Palace Banquet Hall in Surrey.Deadline for nominations is April 1. Nominations are made by submitting three letters for each child: one from a family member, plus two others from people such as coaches or teachers. Submissions can be emailed to ramens@pacificaba.com or mailed to Angels for Autism, Unit 330-12886 96th Ave., Surrey, B.C., V3W 6V8.
