Police ask for help finding crooks targeting cabbies

SURREY - Surrey Mounties are hunting for two men and a woman after five cabbies were robbed in Guildford.

 

The robberies happened over the past month and the first was on April 3. In each case, the driver was lured to a bogus address where he was robbed at knifepoint.

 

Police have provided the description of three robbery suspects, as follows.

 

The first is a black man, five feet nine inches to six feet tall, and muscular.

 

The second is a white man, five feet 10 inches to six feet two inches tall, in his late 20s, slim, with short brown hair, a short brown beard, and he wore a black sweatshirt with brown elbow patches, and red pajama pants.

 

The third robber is a white woman, about five feet six inches tall, 30 years old, medium build with long brown hair, and wore black clothing.

 

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Surrey RCMP's Robbery Unit at 604-599-0502.
