Sail past raises $5,500 for Peace Arch Hospital Foundation

11 decorated vessels participated in Crescent Beach Yacht Club event

A colourful procession of Christmas spirit has raised more than $5,500 for Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.

The funds were raised through the Crescent Beach Yacht Club Christmas Sail Past.

Held Sunday, the event featured 11 yachts decked out in twinkling lights, according to Twitter posts by CBYC.

The vessels set off from the basin of Nicomekl River and sailed to Crescent Beach.
