Shots fired in Whalley

SURREY - Surrey Mounties are looking for an older, dark-coloured sports car with tinted windows after receiving 911 calls about shots being fired in Whalley early Sunday morning.

It was the 37th reported shooting locally since the beginning of March. It happened at about 1 a.m., in the 13900-block of 104th Avenue.

No victims were located, police said. The car was seen speeding away from the scene. Police ask witnesses to call a dedicated tip line for the shooting, at 604-915-6566.
