St. Nick visits the sick

Santa Claus visits several hospitals to bring Christmas cheer to kids who can't be at home for the holidays.

The jolly old elf himself, along with a helper elf, landed on Surrey Memorial Hospital’s rooftop Tuesday afternoon so Santa Claus could bring toys and Christmas cheer to kids in the hospital’s pediatric ward.

Santa Claus also visited BC Children’s Hospital, Royal Columbian Hospital and hospitals in Victoria and Nanaimo, with air support from BC Emergency Health Services and Helijet.
