SURREY — The MS Sevens Rugby Tournament raised $5,500 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada BC and Yukon Division at the South Surrey Athletic Park's Bayside Rugby Club field on May 31.
The co-ed rugby tournament was organized by Paige Smith, Riley Smith and Taylor Strogryn, who play for the Bayside Sharks Rugby Club and the UBC Thunderbirds.
The tournament was attended by 250, many of whom came from as far as Seattle.
