WHITE ROCK — If you're looking for something to get up to over the Christmas break, the City of White Rock is offering up a variety of "Holiday Break Skates" with varying themes.
From a visit by Korki the Clown to a disco skate to "Rocking New Year's Eve", there's something different daily from Christmas Eve through to Jan. 3.
Themed days include Jersey Skate (wear your favorite hockey jersey and get a free hot chocolate, Dec. 27) and a Mascot Skate (Skate around with a team of mascots, Dec. 30).
The skates will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Centennial Arena, 14600 North Bluff Rd. Admission is $3.50 for all ages. For more details, call 604-541-2171 or visit Whiterockcity.ca.
