Hot Mammas heat up the Surrey stage

Trio will perform at Northwood United Church on Sunday.

Treat mom to an afternoon of music with some other mothers – The Hot Mammas.

The trio of singers will perform their three-part harmonies in Surrey this Sunday, bringing their diverse tunes to town on Mother’s Day.

The group – Julie Brown, Mary Ella Young and Georgina Young (accompanied by Tom Arntzen) – will perform at Northwood United Church May 10 as part of the ongoing Vespers in the Valley series.

The concert comes on the heels of the release of the trio’s new CD, Hot Mammas, Yeah? which was unveiled to a sold-out crowd in Vancouver last weekend.

The Surrey performance starts at 4 p.m. at the church, located at 8855 156 St. Admission is by donation.
