Mumford & Sons are a pretty damn easy band to like.

How can you hate on their sound, their soul, or their attitude? The British folk band has made a living and a cult-turned-global following from their Celtic-ish jingles and their raspy "we always sound like we're in an Dublin bar" sound.

On Friday night, May 24, Mumford & Sons played to 25,000 strong at Surrey's Holland Park, the first event in the venue's Concerts In The Park series.

And, earlier that day, lead singer Marcus Mumford joined the Vancouver Whitecaps for a session of footy at the University of British Columbia.

He even roofed a nice little penalty kick past the outstretched arms of defender-turned-goalkeeper Jordan Harvey.
