Rogers Arena tours are back, but the Vancouver Canucks’ dressing room is off-limits to those who buy a ticket.

The tours promise a chance to “explore the home of the Vancouver Canucks and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our state-of-the-art arena” in Vancouver, according to a post on rogersarena.com/tours.

“See first-hand where we’ve staged world-class entertainment and sports for over 25 years and welcomed over 25 million fans from across the globe,” the website says. “And experience a site of history where both the Canadian women’s and men’s hockey teams were victorious in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.”

When asked in an email, however, tour operators with Canucks Sports & Entertainment say people won’t see the area where the Canucks players get ready for hockey games: “Unfortunately, due to preparations in our building to get us ready for next season, you will not have access to the Vancouver Canucks locker room.

“However, you will have the opportunity to get an exclusive look at our game presentation box, alumni suites, press box, Olympic torch, and legends locker room.”

Tours are done in English only and last around 90 minutes, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 2 p.m., starting at the Canucks Team Store (Gate 6, on the corner of Pat Quinn Way and Pacific Boulevard).

For both shared and private tours, tickets are $25 for adults and lower for seniors and kids, with a family rate of $65.

Private tours for groups of 20 people can be booked through the arena tour webpage or via email at arenatours@canucks.com. Tours must be booked in advance.
