Spotlight on homelessness

Students perform a play this week at Delview Secondary.

Delview Secondary students Tyler Wilkie, Sean Brown, Taman Sidhu, Maretta Vestad and Sydney Williams rehearse a scene from the one-act play Blues.

The play, which centres on the topic of homelessness, will be presented Dec. 6, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. at the school, located at 9111 116 St.

Half of all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society.
