Surrey's Solid Rock Biker Church is rolling out a special event this Saturday (July 18).

The group's Bike Fest 2015 event will bring restored motorbikes and cars to Langley Events Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with six live bands featured at the day-long gathering.

It's the biggest event in the church's five-year history, said pastor Chuck Pearce.

"We have rented the huge east parking lot at the Langley Events Centre, and the school parking lot next to it," Pearce told the Now.

"We are expecting 1,000 to 2,000 people to attend throughout the day," he added.

"This is costing a great deal of money to put this on and we are wanting to get the biggest turnout possible. This literally will be a meeting place for all demographics/ages of the motorcycle and antique car crowd, something that we don’t believe has been done on this scale in the past."

Show n' shine entry is by donation to A.I.M. or Salvation Army Gateway, with 50 per cent shared with Solid Rock Biker Church.

Langley Events Centre is located at 7888 200th St., Langley. For more event info, visit Solidrockbikerchurch.com.

The church holds "rally" events every Sunday morning at Kennedy Hall, on Scott Road in Surrey. Bible study classes are held Wednesdays at Royal Heights Baptist Church in North Delta.
