Surrey opens its doors to hula lessons – and more

Residents got to be tourists in their own city on the weekend.

Surrey Doors Open involved 48 sites that were open to the public, allowing residents to be tourists in their own city – parks, places of worship, arts and recreation centres, universities and historic and architectural sites.

At the Cloverdale Legion, a tank crushed a car as part of a demonstration by local cadet groups.
