SURREY — Randy Friskie has put together a stage show featuring songs from Elvis Presley's popular movies. The long-established tribute artist is joined by a Vegas-style band and his daughter, Cassandra Friskie, on a "That's The Way It Is" tour of B.C., which includes a concert date at Chandos Pattison Auditorium, located in the Fraser Heights area of Surrey, on Saturday, Feb. 1. "We are doing something that has never been done before - a show featuring the hits from Elvis' movies, so people can relive the excitement," he said.

Cassandra has followed in her father's footsteps, as she is now busy doing tributes to Cher, Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton and others.

"She was a natural performer from the time she could talk and play," her dad recalled. "I remember when she was about two, looking outside and seeing her singing to some of the kids as loud and strong as she could, 'Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love ya, tomorrow,' and it was on key!" Show tickets are $39.50 via OnTourTickets.com, by phone at 1-855-411-7500 and also at the Long & McQuade music store in North Delta, 8291 120th St. For details, visit RandyElvisFriskie.com.
