BY THE NUMBERS: looking at the 2025 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair

More than 60,000 entered Cloverdale Fairgrounds over 'Rodeo Weekend'

The numbers are now in and it’s been another big Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair.

“This year’s event was one for the record books,” Kathy Sheppard, president of the Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association, told the Cloverdale Reporter. “I just want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the rodeo and fair.”

Despite inclement weather at times, total attendance for the weekend was near that of last year. Sunday at the fair set a daily record at the Fairgrounds with more than 28,000 coming through the gates. Four of five rodeo performances were sell-outs with crowds of over 3,000 people at each.

Here is a breakdown of some of the numbers from Rodeo Weekend in Cloverdale.

Numbers

4: Roller Derby battles in Roll-A-Rama.

5: All Star pro wrestling shows held in the Longhorn Saloon.

6: number of stages providing both entertainment and musical acts.

7: West Coast Lumberjack shows held near the CR Main Stage.

16: amount of skill testing games and activities along the midway.

16: freestyle skateboarding battles held on the South Gate Action Stage.

30: number of rides set up in the midway by Chilliwack’s West Coast Amusements.

62: amount of food trucks and vendors served global flavours.

68: live performers playing on six stages.

96: number of the world's top cowboys and cowgirls competing for prize money in five professional rodeo performances in the Stetson Bowl.

100-plus: amount of games, exhibits, and rides entertaining kids of all ages in both the Buckaroo Barn and Farm Friendz areas.

3,000-plus: number of people attending four of the five rodeo competitions in the Stetson (sell-out crowds). 

4,500: lemonades sold over Rode0 Weekend.

9,000-plus: attendance in both the Longhorn Saloon and the pop-up lounge Rodeo Reds.

15,000: spectators cheering on rodeo athletes in the Stetson Bowl over five rodeo competitions.

28,000-plus: record number of Fairgrounds attendees on Sunday, May 18, which set a daily record for general admission tickets.

60,000-plus: attendees taking in the old fair traditions and new attractions.

$61,810: largest 50/50 jackpot in Country Fair history. Funds raised support the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation.

113,000: mini-donuts sold during the Country Fair.

$300,000: amount in prize money awarded to rodeo competitors over the weekend.
