The Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Abbotsford in 2025.
The world famous basketball team will take over the Abbotsford Centre on Thursday, Jan. 30.
According to the Globetrotters website, fans can expect all the spins, slams and dunks they're used to and also new trials as players face-off to see who can pull off trick shots.
The Washington Generals, the Globetrotters heated rival, will be on-hand to challenge them. The Generals last posted a win over the Globetrotters in 1971.
After the game every fan is invited onto the court to participate in the fifth quarter and get a chance to meet and greet with the team. There are also special ticket offers that allow fans to sit on the bench or participate in pre-game warmups.
The Globetrotters have made Abbotsford a regular stop on their tours for over a decade. Other B.C. stops for 2025 include Penticton (Jan. 28) and Vancouver (Jan. 29).
Tickets for the event go on sale for the general public starting on Sept. 30.
