The Roktoberfest event is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Tradex in Abbotsford.

Abbotsford's Tradex will transform into a setting of Bavarian bliss mixed with classic rock at the Roktoberfest event, which is set for Saturday, Oct. 5.

Tribute bands for legendary groups Metallica and AC/DC will hit the stage and traditional Oktoberfest food and beer will be served.

Master of Justice, a Vancouver-based tribute band for Metallica, have toured all across the province for close to a decade and will be performing at Roktoberfest. They claim to deliver an authentic Metallica experience for fans.

Who Made Who, an AC/DC tribute band, have been hitting the stage since 2005 and have toured all across Canada. The band consists of lead guitarist Scooter Von, lead singer Dan Hunter, rhythm guitarist Rick Mead, bassist Mark Costa and drummer Jamie Constant.

According to the band's website, they take pride in having the largest stage production with all the exacting gear to reproduce the sights and sounds of an AC/DC concert.

In addition to the music, traditional Oktoberfest-style food options will be offered by Yummy Foodies.

The event is also being presented by radio station CFOX. The 19-plus event runs from 3 p.m. until midnight and tickets are $30.75.
