This is their second donation to the foundation this year, after an earlier $1,000 gift to help match B.C. entrepreneur Jim Pattison’s $5 million donation during the 100 Days to Give campaign.
Since 1999, the legion branch has contributed close to $60,000 to the hospital.
The latest donation will help purchase pocket talkers, which help staff communicate with patients who need help hearing but don’t have a hearing aid.
