The Surrey Board of Trade is pleased to announce the appointment of Wally Oppal and Jock Finlayson to its Board of Directors for the 2011-2012 Year.
“Both Jock and Wally will assist the Surrey Board of Trade in its continued success in moving forward our government advocacy issues and projects in the areas of the economy, international trade, and community safety,” said Mary Jane Stenberg, the 48th president of the Surrey Board of Trade.
Finlayson is the Executive Vice President of the BC Business Council.
Oppal is a Canadian lawyer, former judge and former provincial politician, who is currently serving as the Chancellor of the Thompson Rivers University.
