Surrey Fire Department Charitable Society president Mike McNamara skates up the ice at the Surrey Sports and Leisure centre during the Break The Ice Hockey for Mental Health event last Friday.
Since 2011, the Snack Program Hockey tournament has raised over $11,000.
This year, the funds raised will go to support mental health and addiction initiatives.
