Kwantlen Polytechnic University has presented a $5,370 cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society with funds raised going towards cancer research, and creating awareness about the disease.
Kwantlen has been involved in raising funds for cancer research since 1997, giving employees an opportunity to donate via payroll deduction, and the annual “Movember” dodge ball tournament, as well as supporting Kwantlen teams that have participated in various walks.
