Arlene Dickinson, the Canadian business leader and longtime star of TV's Dragons' Den show, has been announced as the guest speaker of the 2025 Surrey Women in Business Awards.
The annual awards luncheon is hosted by Surrey Board of Trade (SBOT) and South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, April 11 at Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel.
Dickinson is widely known as a Canadian business maven and fierce defender of Canada’s economy,
"We are delighted to bring her to Surrey at this pivotal point in Canadian history,” said Indra Bhan, interim leader of SBOT and acting executive director of South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce, which will soon merge, once federal approval is granted.
“Arlene will share her journey to success as a Canadian, female entrepreneur, the lessons she learned along the way, and her take on the trade war.”
Event tickets start at $210 on businessinsurrey.com.
