Bullets hit Surrey home, vehicle heard 'speeding away'

Police responded to a call around 1 am on Tuesday (March 13) of shots fired outside a home in the 14000 block of 114th Avenue

When police arrived on the scene, they found what appeared to be bullet holes in a parked vehicle as well as a home.

Police in Surrey are investigating shots fired outside a home in Bolivar Heights that resulted in damage to a residence and a parked vehicle. 

The RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) responded to a call around 1 a.m. on Tuesday (March 13) about shots fired outside a home in the 14000-block of 114 Avenue. The caller told police that they also heard the sound of "a vehicle speeding away." 

When police arrived at the scene, they found what appeared to be bullet holes in a parked vehicle as well as a home. "No one in the residence or any neighbouring properties were injured," Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said in a Surrey Police Service news release.
