Want to spend the summer renting stand-up paddleboards and/or kayaks to interested customers?
If so, the City of White Rock wants you.
“We’re on the hunt for stand-up paddleboard and kayak rental vendors to bring a splash of excitement to the White Rock waterfront this summer,” the city tweeted on X.
The vendors will operate in three “designated areas along the White Rock waterfront from June 1 to October 31, 2024.”

Interested vendors must meet certain requirements, listed on the city’s website, and will have non-exclusive rights to use a portion of the beach during operating hours. They must pay a business license as well. To apply, potential vendors can visit whiterockcity.ca and download an information package.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 to the City of White Rock Recreation and Culture Department, c/o Centennial Arena, 14600 North Bluff Road, White Rock, B.C. V4B 3C9.
