Expedia Cruises hosts its highly anticipated World Explorer event on Oct. 21, designed to immerse guests in the unique world of accessible luxury cruising and boutique travel.
The event brings together eight curated travel suppliers offering personalized experiences, including river cruising, expeditions, small-ship cruises and unique land itineraries.
“We’ve partnered with suppliers who specialize in boutique products and hidden gem destinations,” explains Cheri Andrichuk, franchise partner at Expedia Cruises Fleetwood.
“Each of our eight elite travel partners brings something unique, from adventure to luxury”
The event features two sessions of presentations and a trade show, allowing attendees to interact with experts and explore options for their next getaway. Andrichuk emphasizes the tailored nature of the offerings: “It’s not just about luxury; it’s about luxury your way, with small ships that can access places the larger vessels can’t. We’re thrilled to introduce our clients to something truly unique.”
Guests will also have the opportunity to experience a wine and cheese pairing – a nod to the culinary specialties often included on luxury itineraries.
“This event offers a taste of the exceptional experiences our clients can expect,” Andrichuk says. “It’s about elevating their travel experience.”
One of the most anticipated highlights is a $1,000 travel voucher, which will be raffled off at the end of the evening, providing one lucky attendee with a head start on their next adventure.
Understanding what you want
“We’re not just about transactions,” Andrichuk says. “We get to know our clients and customize their entire vacation experience, from the flights to the smallest details, so they can fully enjoy their travels, knowing we’re there to support them every step of the way.”
“We want our clients to feel that the world is a smaller place,” she reflects. “We’ve experienced these destinations firsthand, and now we want to share that knowledge with our community.”
