When Kelly Burgess steps outside his OK Tire shop in Surrey’s Fleetwood neighbourhood, he can see the field where he played soccer as a youngster. His former high school is just five minutes away, as is the neighbourhood he grew up in. While things look different than they did when he started his automotive career 25 years ago, Fleetwood has grown into an inviting community and a great place to do business.
“I moved to Fleetwood as a baby and have basically lived here ever since. It’s got great proximity to everything and has grown into a nice, convenient community,” he says.
Kelly’s connection to the local community was at the heart of his decision to launch his own business here at home – first opening the doors to Car Craft Auto Repair in 2013, and most recently transitioning to the trusted OK Tire brand earlier this year.

It’s a passion Kelly brings to work every day. “I took to it very young, with a natural curiosity about how things work,” he says. “I take great pride in getting the job done right and getting customers back on the road safely.”
