16-year-old Surrey girl missing

Police are seeking public assistance in finding Savannah Pederson, missing since Dec. 28.

A family fears for the safety of a 16-year-old who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Surrey RCMP is asking for public helping finding Savannah Pederson, who was last seen in the 14700-block of 88 Avenue on Dec. 28, 2013.

She is described as a black female, 5’4", 161 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black and white tights, a black hoody, black boots, and a white head band.

Pederson is known to be involved in high risk activities, however, police and family are concerned about her well-being and safety due to her young age and length of time she has been missing. She is known to frequent the Surrey area as well as Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
