SURREY — Don’t spend your weekend at home flipping through comic books, kids, because Marvel superhero Captain America is going to be in town.
Guildford Town Centre and Hasbro are celebrating Super Hero September on Sunday (Sept. 28) by having a super hero meet and greet on the upper level of the mall, next to People’s Jewellers.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the iconic comic book hero will be meeting and greeting with his fans and handing out Hasbro toys to a limited number of fellow heroes.
Dress up as any of the Marvel superheroes like Captain America himself, or Spiderman or Iron Man, a snag a photo with the idol.
If you can’t make the event but still want to win a Hasbro toy, enter the contest by posting a photo of your child dressed as their favourite Marvel character on Instagram using the hashtag #GTCxMarvel.
Lucky winners will be announced on GTC’s Facebook page on Oct. 1.
