A woman drove a car into the Starbucks coffee shop in the 10300-block of King George Boulevard on Wednesday.

Police believe the accident was caused by driver error and charges are not expected.



A man was treated for minor injuries after begin slammed through the window of a coffee shop in North Surrey by an errant driver.

At about 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to an accident at a Starbucks in the 10300-block of King George Boulevard.

A man was sitting out front sipping a beverage when a woman drove into him, pushing him through the window of the coffee shop.

The female driver was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure and the man was treated for minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

No charges have been laid, but police say the accident is still under investigation.
