SURREY — Firefighters are still trying to figure out what exactly caused a fire that tore through a large home in Fraser Heights on Wednesday afternoon but have determined it was not deliberately set.

"It's not suspicious," Assistant Surrey Fire Chief Chris Keon said Thursday afternoon. "Investigators are on the scene."

Keon said the resident had gone to pick up her kids and returned home to a raging fire. Nobody was injured.

It happened at about 4:15 p.m., in the 11300-block of 161st Street.
