Surrey RCMP responded to a robbery in the 5700-block of 177 Street Tuesday morning.

Three suspects robbed store after assaulting the on-duty clerk.

Three suspects entered a Cloverdale convenience store on Tuesday morning and assaulted the on-duty clerk before making off with a variety of items.

Surrey RCMP were called to the store, in the 5600-block of 177b Street, shortly after 7:45 a.m.

The clerk received minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are reviewing security camera footage to help determine the identities of the suspects. Investigators on scene said the preliminary investigation was still ongoing.
