SURREY — Lost your RV?

Has your prized Jaguar gone missing?

The police may be able to help.

Sharp-eyed investigators who tailed the driver of a stolen car got more than they bargained for — a lot more.

When the cops tracked the 34-year-old woman pulling into a Surrey home in the 10000-block 138th Street, they quickly ran a check and discovered five other stolen vehicles.

A search warrant turned up a treasure trove of stolen goods — among them welders, power tools, generators, and high-end bicycles.

Investigators say charges are being prepared for multiple suspects.

Now police are releasing photos of all the loot, hoping to connect the items with their rightful owners.

“This investigation started out as a seizure of one stolen vehicle, which eventually led to the significant recovery of some very expensive items,” said Insp. Peter Jadis, Officer in Charge of the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team (IMPACT) .

“Many people were negatively affected by this crime.

“IMPACT’s ultimate goal is to continue to reduce auto crime in B.C. and help people protect themselves from auto-related thefts.”

Two teams from IMPACT and the Surrey Auto Crime Targeting Team tailed the driver of the stolen Nissan pickup on Aug. 11, ultimately turning up both a 2011 motorhome and 2005 Jaguar.

Anyone who believes the stolen goods — which also include audio equipment, boat motors and tool kits — are theirs is asked to phone Const. Daymon Skelton at 778-290-3689.

Police say you’ll have to prove the items are really yours.
