SURREY — A 60-year-old man was found dead in a home in Whalley on Tuesday afternoon and police cordoned off the residence for investigation.
This was in the 14100-block of 110th Avenue. Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit was called to the scene.
“At this point the cause of death is unknown,†Cpl. Scotty Schumann said. “Police will be conducting a thorough investigation as is the usual protocol for any out-of-hospital deaths. The name of the deceased will not be released at this time pending next of kin notification.â€
The BC Coroner’s Service is also investigating.
