Regina Brazil was killed in her home seven years ago and the case is still unsolved.

Delta police found Regina Brazil dead in her Ladner apartment seven years ago today, and the investigation still remains open.

Brazil's neighbour called the police after Brazil hadn't been seen around her apartment complex for a day or so. When police arrived at the apartment, located on the 4600-block of Evergreen Lane, they found 62-year-old Brazil dead inside.

There was no apparent sign of forced entry, and police believe the people involved in the murder were known to her.

To date, the Delta police have completed 400 investigative taskings and conducted over 140 interviews as part of this homicide investigation.

The investigation remains open and police are actively following up on any tips or leads that could help solve the case.

Although it's been seven years, police believe someone may know something that could help close the case.

Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to contact the Delta Police at 604-946-4411, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through the Delta Police unsolved website, dpdunsolved.ca.
