Delta Police Request Assistance Locating Missing Person

DPD are asking for the public's help in locating 67-year-old Frederick Chester of Ladner. Chester has been missing since Aug. 10.

Delta Police are asking for the public's help in locating 67-year-old Frederick Chester. He was last seen in Ladner on Aug. 10 at around 6:00 p.m.

UPDATE: Frederick Chester was safely located the afternoon of Aug. 12.

 

Delta Police are asking for help from the public in locating a missing person.

Sixty-seven-year-old Frederick Chester was last seen in Ladner on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at around 6:00 p.m. Chester had told a friend he was going ot visit family in Mission but has not been seen since.

Police are concerned about Chester’s whereabouts, as he has a history of dementia. Chester has no access to a vehicle and is known to walk or take transit. He doesn’t have a cell phone and did not take any personal belongings with him.

To date, traditional methods to locate Chester have not been successful and the Delta Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Description of Frederick Chester:

67 years old, Caucasian, 5’10”, grey hair, with a heavy build. No clothing description known.

Should anyone locate a male matching the description or know the whereabouts of Frederick Chester please call 911.
