Delta Police are asking for the public's help in locating 52-year-old Allen Skedden.

Skedden was reported missing on Feb. 22 after leaving his residence in the 7800-block of 117 Street the day before and not returning.

Based on their initial investigation, police believe Skedden was last seen on Feb. 21 between 6 and 8 p.m at Queensborough Landing (800-block Boyd St., New Westminster), possibly getting into a white van.

Police are concerned for his health and wellbeing, as he has medical conditions that require ongoing medications and it is unknown if he has them with him.

Family and friends have also indicated that it is out of character for him to leave and not return. He does take public transit and is known to frequent both the Surrey and New Westminster areas.

Skedden is described as a Caucasian male, 52 years old, 5’3" tall with a stocky build, dark brown curly hair, a brown mustache and a cleft lip. He also has a tattoo on his right forearm of a Canadian flag. No clothing description is known.

If anyone has seen or heard from Skedden (on or after Feb. 21) or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Delta Police at 604-946-4411 and quote file number 17-3848.
