A fire has gutted a house in North Surrey Friday night.

Crews were called to the 10600 block of 138th St around 11:30 p.m.

When the first truck arrived they found the two-storey house fully engulfed in fire.

Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the adjacent homes.

RCMP and Surrey firefighters are investigating the spectacular fire.

It doesn't appear that anyone lived in the house as it appeared to be under renovation, but some neighbours report that squatters had been seen inside the house.
