SURREY — Homicide investigators are investigating a murder in Port Kells.

A man’s body was found inside a vehicle, parked in the 18900-block of 92nd Avenue, at about 9 a.m. Tuesday.

“We are in the early stages and although the cause of death will have to be confirmed through autopsy we can say that this incident does not appear to be a random act,” said Cpl. Dominic Duchesneau, of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

“Our priority at this point is the confirm the victim’s identity and notify his family.”

Police are asking anyone with information, or who has been in that area in the past few days, to contact the IHIT tip line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448).
