Delta Police are investigating human remains found Thursday

Delta Police are investigating after human remains were found in the 10700 block of Nordel Way on the morning of Dec. 29, according to Delta Police public relations coordinator Sharlene Brooks

A passerby spotted the remains at approximately 11 a.m. in a wooded area and called the Delta Police.

Delta Police Major Crimes Section has confirmed no foul play is suspected in this case.

Police are still awaiting confirmation from the coroners office on the person’s identity, which they say could take some time.
