IHIT investigates woman's death

One man arrested Sunday morning incident in North Surrey.

A man is in custody following the death of a woman in the 10100-block of 128A Street on Sunday morning.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is investigating the death of a woman in her 60s in North Surrey on Sunday.

On March 20 at about 5:40 a.m., Surrey RCMP were called to a disturbance at 10122 128A St. Upon arrival, officers located the female suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A male was arrested at the scene and IHIT was called to take over the case.

A neighbour said the house police were at had a family that included an adult couple, their kids, and the mother of one of the parents. They lived at the house for about four years.
