Chantelle Moore was last seen in Langley on Oct. 16, and police are asking for tips on her location.

Homicide investigators have taken over the case of missing woman Chantelle Moore, who was last seen in Langley.

Moore, 34, was reported missing to the Surrey RCMP on Nov. 18, 2024, after her family had not heard from her over an extended period. Surrey and Langley investigators determined she was last seen at a Langley hotel.

When the Langley RCMP alerted the public to Moore as a missing person, they said the last time she was seen was around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 16.

Recent information uncovered by the police has led investigators to believe that her disappearance is suspicious, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now taken over, said IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Freda Fong.

"Chantelle’s family and loved ones deserve to know what happened to her and we will continue to work with Langley RCMP to advance this case," Fong said.

Moore, 34, stands 5'7" tall and weighs about 126 pounds. She has brown hair.

Anyone with tips or information about Moore is asked to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
