WHALLEY — A 23-year-old Surrey man was arrested Sunday evening after a police emergency response team was called to a house in Whalley.
Police were doing a traffic stop at 138A Street and 104A Avenue at about 6 p.m. Sunday when three men bailed out of an idling Mercedes and ran into a house nearby.
Police said the driver eventually gave himself up and was arrested for prohibited driving. Meanwhile, officers searched the car and found a gun.
The other two men are still unaccounted for.
