A man is in hospital after what is believed to have been a stabbing in Newton.
At about 3:15 p.m. Thursday, police were called to a disturbance at a home in the area of 88 Avenue and 127 Street.
Witnesses said they saw a man covered in blood running eastbound on 88 Avenue.
The man was found and taken to hospital, where he was being treated as of 4 p.m.
As of that time, Surrey RCMP were attending the residence where the man was believed to have been injured.
Police said they could provide no more details as it was early in the investigation.
