A 48-year-old man is dead after a workplace accident in North Delta.
The man was working in traffic control at a construction site at 10800-block River Road on Wednesday at about 10:55 a.m. when he was crushed by a dump truck that was backing up on the site.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name is not being released until his family has been notified.
WorksafeBC and the BC Coroner's Office have launched investigations into the fatality.
