A man is in hospital with gunshot wounds after reports of gunplay between from one car into another in Newton on the weekend.
On Sunday, at 8:32 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a call of shots fired in the 14200-block of 64 Avenue.
As police attended, a man showed up at hospital with gunshot wounds. He remains there with serious injuries.
The initial investigation has revealed that a vehicle was seen firing into another. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-coloured SUV.
The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.
