Man stabbed outside Surrey restaurant

Police are looking for three males who robbed another outside Nando's restaurant on Sunday afternoon.

A Surrey man is in hospital with multiple stab wounds after being robbed as he left a Guildford restaurant on the weekend.

At just after 4 p.m. Sunday, the 37-year-old victim and a woman left Nando's restaurant, in the 15100-block of 101 Avenue.

They were in the parking lot when three Caucasian males approached wearing black hoodies.

During the confrontation that followed, the three men took jewelry from the man and in the process, slashed him in the face and stabbed him in the chest and abdomen.

He was taken to hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police say the victim is known to them, but say the crime is not believed to be gang-related.
