NEWTON — Surrey RCMP say a man was taken to hospital Tuesday night after a Newton home was shot up.
Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 12100-block of 68th Avenue at approximately 8 p.m.
Officers on scene found a man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital and police say he is expected to survive.
Police believe this was a targeted incident.
Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Section is investigating.
