More shots fired in Surrey as police investigate ‘targeted incident’ in Bridgeview area

SURREY — Shots were fired near a Bridgeview-area banquet hall late Friday night (July 21).

Surrey RCMP responded to a number of 911 calls of shots fired in the 12300-block of Pattullo Place, at around 11:30 p.m.

No victims were located at the scene, or at local hospitals, police said.

“Initial investigation has revealed that a black coloured S.U.V. was seen fleeing from that area,” police stated. “Surrey R.C.M.P. Officers have and will be conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.”
