SURREY — A GoFundMe page set up for the Surrey man killed in an apparent head-on collision Wednesday has raised more than $87,000.

GoFundMe page has been set up for Steve Mallhi, which says he was a father of two and was a longshoreman.

The Now has learned he lived in Panorama Ridge.

The crash happened at about 2:40 a.m. on Deltaport Way near Arthur Drive. Police say initial indications are that the car travelling eastbound on Deltaport crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed into the semi-truck head on.

"An Injury to one is an injury to all!" wrote Johnny Levy, who started the campaign. "Our brother and fellow 502 coworker tragically lost his life on the way home last night. The loss to his 2 young children and his family is tremendously heartbreaking. We can all relate to the fears of a young family when losing someone vital to their well being.
