Nearly 4,000 without power in South Surrey/White Rock

Outage stretches from 20 Avenue to Marine Drive

Nearly 4,000 BC Hydro customers in South Surrey and White Rock are without power this morning.

According to outage information on the utility’s website, the area affected is south of 20 Avenue, west of Highway 99 and east of Marine Drive.

Crews are on site and the cause of the outage, which began just after 9 a.m., is under investigation, according to BC Hydro.
